Student impressions - Reunion
Just 7 days but lots of new people... The Reunion meeting of the Comenius Biodiversity project was an amazing experience for me. Altough it was just 7 days, we made everlasting friendships! I think everyone will be keep in touch each others. One day maybe we can be all together again. That trip was an oppurtunity to discover new cultures, have fun and learn a lot for me. This week was the one of my best weeks in my life. Now, I feel like as if I have many second families in different countries. I would like to thank all people who took place in this project and made my trip unforgettable.

The ReunÄ?on meeting of the Comenius Biodiversity project was one of the best experience of my whole life. Before I went to Reunion, I didnt know anything about there. But now I am feeling like one of my part is still in ReunÄ?on. All people say ReunÄ?on is so far. I can't feel like that thanks to who I met with. I felt like I am in my own turkey, while I was walking on ReunÄ?on's streets. Nobody was foreign for me. I am very grateful for their hospitality.Most importantly, I met with lots of people who smiles without any reason. I just felt happiness in there. It was like a dream. ReunÄ?on has lots of unbelievable places. But just friends can make them unforgettable. It means that I can't forget. Maybe you will never have chance to going to ReunÄ?on but you should meet with someone who lives in ReunÄ?on. I am sure it will make you happy. As a result, Ä? know lots of people who lives in ReunÄ?on and they added 2-3 years to my life with their energy. I can't explain how much I miss them but we are still in keep in touch and Ä? hope we will be... Even I hope we will have a chance to meet again.
Vaniah wasn't just my host friend. She was like my sister. Thanks to her, I feel like I have another family in ReunÄ?on. I am sorry for others but Ä? have to say that: She was the best partner! The other think that Ä? should share with you is William. He is the best guide. Thanks to him, we learned lots of thinks about ReunÄ?on and we got a chance to meet with his crazy friends whose names are Tinany and Thomas. They made our trip unforgettable. I want to finish my sentences in French: "Merci pour tout" !

When I found out about this trip I was very excited, we have to go so far away ... in an island in Indian Ocean. An extraordinary trip at 12 ooo km far away from home.
Now I have moments when I wonder if what it happened was real or if it was one of my dreams.
The flight to Reunion Island was so long but I liked it, was my first trip with the airplane.
I liked all we did in Reunion, everything was special.
There were a lot of fun activities, such as swimming in an ocean, snorkeling, kayaking.
And I must tell that I felt very well with our host students, they were so friendly and I enjoyed every day spent with them.
What excites me now is the thought that I have friends in many parts of the world with whom I can communicate and who knows… maybe we’ll see each other again, sometime, somewhere.
My host, Valentin was wonderful, he tried to do everything for me. Valentine's mother was very welcoming and made me feel like at home. I am grateful for all they did for me.
Thanks for the straw hat, Valentin! It hangs on the wall in my room to remember the wonderful time spent in Reunion!

We haven’t words enough to say how much we are grateful for the time we spent in Reunion Island. It was the best week of our whole life. Honestly, this journey was so perfect and remarkable. And it is so difficult to describe this amazing week, it was so fast.
Firstly, we would like to thank our host families for their hospitality and for the great moments that we spent. It was so nice to be part of their family.
We met amazing people and amazing places. The Reunion welcome was great and we made more friends that we will never forget. Special thanks to William, Valentin, Antoine, Olivia and Julien for all the moments we lived together.
The first day in school was the most important of this journey; we had time to take a Creole breakfast and to meet some of the students and teachers involved in this project. We made and listened to bio indication presentations that allowed us to improve our knowledge.
The weather was great, the beach was perfect, the volcanoes were amazing and of course, the most important, the people were wonderful. The only sad thing was that it was a short time to be with all of them. We enjoyed every moment that we spent on the beach and in the mountains but it was so perfect when we saw the coral and the little fishes around us.
In the beginning, we never thought that this trip could be so important for us. But now we know that with this project we improved our English, we made new friends, we knew other culture and other places and we grew up a lot.
The greatest thing about this project is that we can meet different people, and although they are teens, they don’t think like us. Our new friends are going to be part of our life! We will have a lot of houses to go when we return to Reunion Island.
Finally, we would like to thank all the people and teachers involved in the project, but especially, Anabela, Cristina, Philippe and Dominique.

I had really great time on this Comenius project. I've made friends for whole live. I've seen the most beautiful landscapes ever. I had fantastic opportunity to improve my english skills.
Reunion Island is very beautiful. My host family was very friendly and took care of me. I got to know the cuture and traditions of Reunion. It was worth to travel so far to see how the real live on Reunion Island looks lik.
